Silver Stick, Winter Games, and NORCAL Champions Triumphs

Congratulations to the California Cougars Squirt B1 team for winning the 7th Annual Pacific District US Regional Silver Stick Tournament in November 2011.

The team represented the Pacific region in the 50th Annual International Silver Stick Finals in Pelham, Ontario, Canada, January 5-8th, 2012.  They were the only American team to make the Semifinals (where they lost in overtime), finishing 4th overall, out of 20 invited teams from Canada and USA.

And Congratulations to the team for their 4-1 victory over the Vacaville Jets in the California Winter Games Championship Game over Presidents Day weekend in San Diego.  The Cougars went undefeated in the tournament beating the Tri-Valley Blue Devils, Phoenix Jr. Coyotes, San Diego Jr. Gulls, and ultimately the Vacaville Jets.

And Congratulations for sweeping the NORCAL Playoffs the weekend of March 23rd in Oakland and becoming the NORCAL Squirt B Champions for the 2011-12 season.  This also qualified the team for the CAHA State Championships in San Jose April 13-15.
