Cougars Shutout by Capital Thunder
November 15, 2008
The Cougars played the Capital Thunder in a home game at Bridgepointe.
Once again the Thunder dominated the Cougars from start to finish.
Although the socre was as lopsided as the first game between these teams
there were clear signs of continuing improvement from the Cougars.
However, the speed size and constant pressure applied by the Capital
Thunder denied the Cougars time to execute even the most basic
plays. The effects of this became increasingly evident in the third
period as the Thunder scored six times as the Cougars wore down.
