The Cougars played the Vacaville Jets on a rainy evening at Bridgepointe. The Cougars started fast nearly scoring on the first shift off a breakaway. The Cougars kept up their pace and were rewarded with two goals in the first 10 minutes of the game. The Jets drew one back late in the first period. The game was played at a very fast pace throughout. Both teams created chances and both goalies made outstanding saves. A goal by the Jets late in the third period ended the scoring and sent the teams home tied 2 - 2.
