Writeup of California Cougars 10-2 loss to San Jose Sharks PW AA on 12/11/11
After having his tegular-season scoring string snapped, Pace Farbstein tallied two goals in the 10-2 loss to San Jose Sharks PW AA at Sharks Ice on Sunday, Dec. 11, in a game in which the California Cougars were outshot 48-25. Tom Beebe headmanned the puck to Tal Horovitz, who fed Farbstein, who capitalized on his rebound to cut the score to 4-1 early in the second period. John Bohac nicely saucered the puck to Farbstein for the second Cougars goal with 5:37 left in the middle frame, but the Cougars could not edge closer. Adam Rosenduft won 12 of 14 faceoffs and Nash Berkowitz and Matthew Lydon each won 6. Erik West won 3 of 4 draws.
