The other Peewee AA teams originally signed up to play did not commit in the end, so the boys played four exhibition games against A level squads. Play was sharp all around, and the team had three shutouts in four games. Results showed that the team was probably a "tweener" this season - one that struggled at AA but would likely have experienced lopsided games in their favor against A level competition.
Game 2 was close for two periods, as Valencia's defense was excellent, particularly its goalie. The Cougars broke the game open with six goals in the third period.
