The Cougars 99AA team started CAHA Weekend #2 against one of the state's top teams, and the game began well. After a few shifts, the Heat exerted its will, but the Cougars stayed close with strong checking and defense.
A 2-0 score after one period became 5-0 after two. However, the Cougars stayed strong and played well. Not that breaks would have made a difference, but none went to the Cougars in this game, and a five goal third broke open the game.
