After a fast start by the Cougars 99AA squad, including an early goal and good puck possession in the opening minutes, the LAHC AA team struck back and tied the score at 1 midway through the first period. The score was tied after Period 1 and stood at 3-1 after two periods, but LAHC extended the lead for a 7-1 final in the first game of CAHA Weekend #1.
