The Cougars 99AA squad tied its season opening preseason game against the Jr. Sharks A team, 5-5. After a slow start, the Cougars held a 4-2 lead midway through the third period, but the Jr. Sharks capitalized on a few defensive miscues and scored three unanswered goals to take a 5-4 lead. The Cougars rallied to tie the game in the final minutes. A nice comeback but not entirely satisfying. The opener is in the books, though, and the 2010-2011 season is underway!
