November 2 (1st of two games)
The first of two games versus the Gold Rush was all Cougars. Jared Gropp got the scoring started seconds into the game. Stanton Turner scored his first Hat Trick of the season. Brennan Kurtela & Rickey Niday each had 3 assists. Matt Shepherd scored the lone goal of the second period with Eric Jones getting the assist. The third period featured 2 short handed goals coming from Cougars. Rickey Niday from Hurley and Stanton Turner unassisted. Final score 6-0. Goalie Mario Retana recorded his first shut out of the season stopping 17 shots.
