This meeting the Cougars Stanton Turner drew first blood with assists to the defensive pair of Hurley & Jones who had a combined 5 assists for the game. In the 2nd period Jared Gropp scored two goals with Matt Shepherd getting the assist. In the 3rd period. Rickey Niday scored with Turner & Kurtela getting the assist to put the game out of reach for the Jr. Sharks. Despite being outshot 43-28 the Cougars never trailed. Goalie Mario Retana made a season high of 41 saves in this 4-2 win.
