With goalie Mario Retana serving a game suspension, Connor Lung starts his first game of the season. The first period was a rough start with the Wild scoring six unanswered goals. In the second period the Cougars settled down with Brennan Kurtela scoring the lone goal. Inland Wild added two more goals - score now 8-1 after two periods. In the third period the Cougars showed their character. Despite the lopsided score, the boys continued to battle until the end. Matt Shepherd scored with assists from Derek White & Nick Rawcliffe. With six seconds left in a losing effort, RawDawg stunned the Wild by scoring his 1st goal of the season with Derek White adding his second assist. The final score was 13-3. This game epitomized the Cougars never say die attitude. Connor Lung made 15 saves in a losing effort.
