Cougars vs San Diego Gulls, resulted in a 5-2 win. Team Captain Rickey Niday, scored the 1st hat trick of the season. Ryan Lung and Stanton Turner also scored with Turners goal coming shorthanded. Brennan Kurtela and Turner each had three assists in this win. Goalie Mario Retana made 10 saves.
The defense was strong killing 6 of 7 shorthanded situations.
