The Cougars were outplayed, outskated, and outshot by the Sharks in all three periods, and are defeated.
The Sharks had 56 shots on goal, (15, 26, and 15); scoring 9 goals (2, 3, and 4); the Cougars had 27 shots (8, 8, and 11); scoring 2 goals, both in the third period.
Center Brendan Wright, scored an unassisted goal in the third period. Center Sam Brewer, assisted by Left Wing Matan Geller, scored the final Cougars goal.
Goaltender Adam Scianna saved a very impressive 47 shots.
