Vacaville ekes out a tie with less than a minute remaining

Apparently determined to make it harder than usual to earn a spot in the playoffs, the Cougars allowed the Vacaville Vipers to tie the score with less than a minute on the clock.

The Vipers played their last minute with an empty net. The strategy paid off as they skated to a 1-1 tie with the Cougars.

The Cougars are tied in fourth place with Vacaville and San Jose.

I'm still hoping they take it all the way!!!!
